Visitors at First Baptist Church of Morrow

COME VISIT US AT FIRST BAPTIST MORROW!
We are located on Lake Harbin Road just one block east of Highway 54 (Jonesboro Road).

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY MORNINGS:
Our congregation is made up of people of all ages and religious backgrounds who are in all stages of the Christian walk. You will be warmly welcomed to participate in our journey.

WHAT WILL I WEAR?
There is no dress code at First Baptist Church. Jeans are as common as suits and polo shirts as common as ties. Wear what you are comfortable wearing to worship.

WHERE WILL I PARK?
Both drives into our location lead to ample parking areas. If you park in the lot off of Lake Harbin Road, enter the church through the doors under the drive-up awning. If you enter from Murphy Drive and park behind our building, enter through the door marked “Church Office” under the covered sidewalk.

WHAT TIME DO YOU MEET ON SUNDAYS?
Bible Study Groups - 10:00 AM
Worship - 11:00 AM

WHAT TIME DO YOU MEET ON WEDNESDAYS?
Fellowship Supper - 5:00 PM
Prayer Meeting, Children's Choir/Missions, and Youth Group - 6:00 PM
Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal - 7:00 PM

WHAT WILL I SEE?
You will see women and men, ministers and members, young and old, preaching, praying, reading scripture, and singing. We believe that God gives spiritual gifts to each person and every part of worship reflects that conviction.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC WILL I HEAR?
Our approach to worship is most often referred to as “traditional.” The songs we sing are selected from the hymns of our faith both ancient and modern. Piano and organ accompany our singing and choral worship utilizes the talents of our members in worship leadership.

WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
Children are treasured at First Baptist Church and are always welcomed in worship. There is a nursery available for infants through three-year-olds that many parents use as an option during worship. Children may leave partway through the service after a children’s sermon for a Children’s Worship designed especially for them. This is optional and children may stay with their parents for the entire service..

WILL I BE ASKED TO DO ANYTHING?
You will not be called upon publicly in any way. Just come and be our guest. You will be invited to fill out a visitor’s slip but you are not required to do so.

WITH WHAT ORGANIZATIONS ARE YOU CONNECTED?
FBC is a part of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship both nationally and in Georgia. We support mission efforts through our gifts to these entities. We also directly support The Good Shepherd Clinic located on our property, a rescue ministry, a counseling ministry, two ministries in Africa, and McAfee School of Theology. In addition members who wish to do so may designate money to Southern Baptist missions.
